Charles Marion Russell (March 19, 1864 - October 24, 1926) was a famous artist of Western America. Also known as C.M. Russell, this great American artist produced over two thousand paintings of Western United States imagery, as well as bronze sculptures. Russell was also a celebrated author and storyteller as well. Located in Great Falls, Montana, Russells hometown, is the C.M. Russell Museum Complex. It is home to thousands of Russell artworks, artifacts, and personal items.
